Rekosistem — Company Profile Website
Rekosistem · Frontend Developer
Company profile website for Rekosistem, an Indonesian climate-tech startup focused on circular economy and waste management — built to communicate its mission, services, and environmental impact to consumers, partners, and enterprise clients.

Overview
The Rekosistem company profile website is the public digital face of one of Indonesia's leading climate-tech startups. Built to serve multiple audiences — consumers, sustainability-minded individuals, enterprise clients, and potential investors — the site communicates Rekosistem's mission, ecosystem of services, and measurable environmental impact. It covers the full product and service landscape: Repickup household waste collection, Setor Sampah drop-off network, Rebox IoT smart bins, and B2B ESG reporting solutions.
Problem
Rekosistem had a growing operational platform and an expanding service portfolio, but needed a web presence that could clearly communicate its value proposition to very different audiences — from individual households scheduling a pickup, to enterprise clients seeking ESG compliance partners, to investors evaluating the company's growth story. A generic or poorly structured site would fail all three.
Solution
The website was architected around clear audience segmentation and content hierarchy. Each service and product area has its own dedicated section with consistent visual language. Performance optimization was treated as a core requirement — not an afterthought — given the need to reach users across varying device and network conditions in Indonesia. Reusable component architecture with Chakra UI kept the codebase maintainable as content sections expanded.
Architecture
Built on Next.js for server-side rendering and static generation, ensuring fast initial loads and strong SEO. Chakra UI provides the component foundation with a themeable design system aligned to Rekosistem's brand. REST API integration drives dynamic sections such as impact counters and service availability data. TypeScript enforces type safety across all components and data contracts.
Lessons learned
A company profile website for a sustainability platform carries a heavier communication burden than a typical marketing site. The content has to work simultaneously for a consumer who wants to book a pickup, a corporate procurement manager evaluating ESG vendors, and a journalist covering climate tech. Designing information architecture that serves all three without feeling cluttered or unfocused was the core challenge — and it required multiple iterations in close collaboration with the product and marketing teams.
